At Melupi Clothing, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help. Please read our policy below regarding exchanges and refunds.
1. General Exchange Policy
We are happy to exchange items if you have changed your mind or if the size/color isn’t quite right, provided that:
- The request is made within 7 working days of receiving your order.
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.
- The customer is responsible for the courier costs associated with returning the item to us and shipping the replacement.
2. Refunds (Store Fault Only)
Please note that we operate a no-refund policy unless the fault lies with Melupi Clothing. A refund will only be processed under the following circumstances:
- The item received is defective or damaged upon arrival.
- The incorrect item was shipped to you.
- The item is out of stock after your order was successfully placed.
In these instances, we will cover all shipping costs and offer you the choice of a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement at no extra charge.
3. Exclusions
- Items purchased during a Clearance Sale or as “Final Sale.”
4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To start the process, please follow these steps:
- Email us at info@melupiclothing.co.za with your Order Number and the reason for the return/exchange.
- If the item is faulty, please attach clear photos of the defect.
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days and provide you with the return address and instructions.
5. Inspection & Processing
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected.
- For Exchanges: Once approved, we will send an invoice for the shipping of the new item (if applicable) and dispatch it once paid.
- For Refunds (Faulty Items): Once the fault is verified, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 working days.
